They are typically made of glass for chemical inertness; and in modern days, they are usually made of heat-resistant glass called Pyrex. There is at least one opening known as the neck. Two or three-necked flasks are common as well. Round bottom flasks come in many sizes, from 5 mL to 5 L, with the sizes usually inscribed on the glass. In pilot plants even larger flasks are encountered. The ends of the necks are usually conical (female) ground glass joints. These are standardized, and can accept any similarly-sized tapered (male) fittings. Standard Taper 24/40 is common for 250 mL or larger flasks, while smaller sizes such as 14 or 19 are used for smaller flasks. RBF Homepage = Reel Big Fish, a ska-punk band that became popular in the 90's.Reel Big Fish is an American third wave ska band, best known for the 1997 hit "Sell Out." Reel Big Fish gained mainstream recognition in the mid-to-late 1990s, following the success of fellow ska/punk bands No Doubt and Sublime. Reel Big Fish first signed to Mojo Records in 1996, which was then owned by Universal Records. Mojo was later sold to Jive Records. After several years of dissatisfaction, in 2006 Jive Records dropped Reel Big Fish from its roster; much to the band's delight. As an independent band, Reel Big Fish plan to pursue more projects, and have thus far released their own live CD/DVD set as well as a split EP with tour-mates Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer entitled "Duet All Night Long", which was released on 20th February, 2007.Reel Big Fish
